Todd O. Glassman

Operator perspective. Investor discipline.

Todd is the Principal of Exelis Group, a boutique C-suite advisory and interim leadership firm that helps investors, boards, owners and management teams build stronger businesses and create lasting enterprise value.

Over the past 25+ years, Todd has worked across executive leadership, investing and advisory roles, helping organizations build, scale, transform and institutionalize businesses and operating capabilities. His experience spans wealth management, alternative asset management, capital markets, fintech, industrials, logistics and other middle-market businesses.

Todd typically serves as an operating partner, interim executive or C-suite advisor when something important needs to be built, fixed, scaled or professionalized. Combining an investor’s perspective with an operator’s understanding of execution, he helps leadership teams translate strategic ambition into organized, measurable action.

Todd began his career helping build new businesses, including serving on the founding teams of an investment-management fintech and a specialized technology company. He later joined Fidelity Investments’ private equity and strategic investments group, where he developed investment theses and growth strategies supporting portfolio platforms representing more than $2 billion of invested capital. He subsequently moved into operating roles within a Fidelity-owned industrial distribution business, helping scale the platform from approximately $500 million to $6 billion in revenue and build a national accounts business representing approximately $400 million in sales.

Todd later sourced and evaluated more than $2 billion of investment opportunities for a private family investment office and served as North American CEO of a global fintech and AI-enabled embedded-lending platform. These experiences strengthened his ability to connect capital, technology, strategy and operating execution across businesses at different stages of development.

Through Exelis, Todd advises private equity firms, family offices, boards and executive teams on enterprise value creation, business transformation, performance improvement, operating-model design, strategic finance, capital allocation and transaction-related priorities. His engagements frequently occur at critical inflection points, including rapid growth, leadership transition, operational complexity, underperformance, institutionalization and preparation for a transaction or next stage of ownership.

Todd holds an MBA, magna cum laude, from Babson College’s F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, an MS from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a BS from the University of Connecticut. He has also completed an executive program in supply chain at the MIT Sloan School of Management and holds the FINRA Series 82 and 63 registrations. He is the co-author of The Market Gurus: Stock Investing Strategies You Can Use From Wall Street’s Best, which sold more than 30,000 copies and was published in four languages.
